Robert Palmer, CPA Educates Area Business Leaders on 2008 Tax Law Changes

FORT MILL, SC (December 6, 2007)—Robert Palmer, CPA, of Robert Palmer and Associates, spoke to a full house of area professionals at the December 5 Carolina Business Leaders meeting, held at 7:45 a.m. at Ida Roselle’s restaurant at 235 Main Street in Fort Mill, South Carolina. His 20-minute presentation addressed new tax laws and existing tax law changes proposed for 2008, and how they would affect local business owners and taxpayers.

Additionally, Palmer offered estate planning advice and strategies on how to cost-effectively transfer large amounts of funds between generations. After the presentation, Palmer welcomed questions from those in attendance and offered general financial advice.

Palmer’s talk was based upon two classes he attended earlier this month: “Federal Tax Update” and “Business and Corporate Tax Update.” Both were administered by Joseph Walloch, CPA; an expert witness-by-assignment for the Congress of the United States.
